In view of the standards that have been hyped up for years, private housing construction in Germany has almost come to a standstill. That is why we need different houses. They must be simpler to build in order to be affordable, and they must have new social qualities: lower costs and higher quality of life.

Our ecological and social project at Offenbach harbor: ROCKYWOOD is a sustainable project that focuses on people. In just one and a half years, a place for “new work” was created on around 11,000 square meters. The highlight: ROCKYWOOD consists of two buildings - Rocky and Wood - which together form a micro-neighborhood. Wood was built using modular timber construction, which - similar to Timber Pioneer - ensures a pleasant and healthy indoor climate. Here, 2,600 cubic meters of wood were used, thus binding approx. 2,500 tons of CO2. Rocky, on the other hand, is a classic concrete building, but here various requirements were taken into account through architectural tricks.
