On 29 February 2024, the 2nd URBAN TIMBER: Timber Pioneer Frankfurt event will take place, a fascinating opportunity to explore the future of building with timber in urban environments. This unique event brings together the construction industry, project development and timber construction experts.

The project: Timber Pioneer

The Timber Pioneer is a timber hybrid office building in Frankfurt. It covers an area of 14,000 m² over 8 floors. Natural wooden surfaces, high ceilings and a flexible interior design create ideal conditions for innovative office concepts. This building is a milestone for modern timber construction in the city. It is the first timber hybrid building in Frankfurt to be approved in accordance with the Höhenhausverordnung.

Eike Becker will be present:

- 14:45 - 16:00 CET: Exclusive tour of the building in groups focussing on different topics.

- 16:45 - 17:30 CET: Experiences and insights from the project - Eike Becker, Joachim Hartwich (Hartwich Bernhardt INGENIEURE) and Johannes Lederbauer (WIEHAG).
